My Projects

During my master’s degree in Computer Science, I was engaging with various Computer Science projects. Here I am adding a few.
Visit My projects showcase to see more.

AI powered History Telling App for UD Sculptures.

This project made a mobile application that can detect a sculpture at the University of Dayton and display a short video on the phone screen about it when we point the phone camera at it.

The sculpture image classification was done with Machine Learning (ML) image classification model. Then the model was converted to Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) file format. After that, it was simulated and tested in Unity with the Barracuda inference engine. Finally, it deployed to an iOS device.

AR-oriented App of an Aquarium.

The sea floor was created using Blender with free downloadable 3-D seafloor objects. I used Vuforia Engine with Unity to connect AR experiences to target images and objects in the environment. Then I added a some user interacting features to my aquarium.

My Hobbies

Cooking and Baking

Cooking is not just about making food or baking is not just about making cakes; they are all about enjoying the process and gaining knowledge. I cook or bake to feel a sense of accomplishment too.

Here are a few of the cakes I made for my son's birthdays.

Paper Quilling

I am not an expert at paper quilling, but I came across this hobby when I saw beautiful paper quilling work published on Pinterest. I learned it by watching others' works and following YouTube videos. Here are a few of my paper quilling art pieces.

Butterfly Gardening and Rearing

I love butterflies. Raising butterflies is one of my hobbies. I have been doing this for many years. I learned a lot about butterflies by rearing and photographing them. This hobby helps me to improve my focus and attend to information.

Hydroponics and Indoor Gardening

During the 2020 pandemic, I started gardening to help distract from lockdown boredom. I did many experiments, learned to grow food within a limited indoor space, and made something to add to my food. It helped me to stay physically and mentally healthy and provided a welcome release from the stresses related to the Covid crisis.
